The main purpose of this website is to display the research I have carried out in the area of vegetal biogeography and ecology since the completion of my Ph. D in 1999.

Most of my research has been conducted in the Mediterranean region of Israel where I have lived since 1998.

In the Research interests menu I detail the two main research issues I have been focusing on over the past few years: Invasive plants in natural areas in Israel; and the dynamics of ligneous vegetation in the understorey of pine planted forests.
